The Payback Foundation

PayBack support grant applications for named children, aged seventeen or under, who have physical, emotional or learning difficulties and live or go to school within a ten mile radius of one of our offices. PayBack also supports grants for organisations who work with children who fit the above criteria.

Since being established in 1997, we have raised over £630,000 for PayBack helping improve the lives of over 700 children. Last year our colleagues raised an amazing £38,182 for PayBack making a positive impact to the lives of 43 local children by providing rants for specialist items including trikes, car seats, sensory equipment, iPads and wheelchairs.

We’re passionate about PayBack, and were overwhelmed when Asda awarded us with a Corporate Responsibility Award for Payback.

PayBack is administered by our employees and is funded entirely through voluntary donations and fundraising activities. Our colleagues don’t need much encouragement when it comes to supporting their local communities, and are always coming up with new fundraising ideas.

There are so many children who need and deserve our help. If there is anyone you know who could benefit from a PayBack grant, please get in touch. To enquire about a grant, please email

Meet some of our Recipients

  • Charlotte
With a new P Pod Chair and Lycra Suit from PayBack, Charlotte has greater support when sitting and walking, enabling her to enjoy more activities at home and at nursery with her twin brother, Daniel.
  • Elena
6 year-old Elena has dyspraxia, which causes her to have difficulties with communication and co-ordination. A new trike has helped Elena to build up resilience and confidence to go out and play with her friends.
  • Jacob
Jacob is 2 years old; he has developmental delay and altered muscle tone limiting his mobility. With a new custom-built trike from PayBack, Jacob now enjoys more independent movement and can go out to play.
  • Lyall
Lyall communicates using Makaton sign language; his PayBack grant application for an iPad is helping Lyall to learn more signs and communicate more effectively with his friends and family.
