Ceridian, one of the largest providers of quality human resource processing, outsourcing and consulting solutions in the world, has launched an all-new, fully-integrated, self-service, online flexible benefits programme as part of its overall HR solutions offering. The programme has just been successfully implemented by Mourant, a leader in multi-jurisdictional professional services and is in the process of implementation with two other clients. The technology powering the solution has already won the Innovation Award at the 2005 Institute of Payroll and Pensions Management Ceremony.
Doug Sawers, managing director of Ceridian said: “Our new solution addresses all the main barriers to flexible benefits take up, allowing employers to offer a wide range of benefits to suit the diverse needs of the workforce. We make it easy for employers by offering the choice of consulting, administration and technology provision under one roof. Employees are able to make benefit choices to suit their lifestyle and view their current and historical total reward statements online to see their value to the company and the true cost of employment. They can modify their personal benefits at any time in accordance with their company’s core benefits rules. An automatic on-screen calculator and hyperlinks allow for making informed decisions.”
“Our solution has been designed for ease of integration, regardless of the HR and payroll systems in use, and includes multi-language and multi-currency features for global applications. Uniquely, we at Ceridian are able to provide both the technology and the consulting and administration services employers need to make flexible benefits a reality. Flexible benefits have already been widely offered by Ceridian in the USA and Canada and we plan to roll-out across Europe.”
Jacqui Audrain, senior HR manager at Mourant commented: “The Ceridian flexible benefits solution is a good product, simple and easy to use. It presents each individual employee with a comprehensive look at his or her sophisticated reward package. As such, it has met our objective of moving towards a total reward culture. The solution does not require a lot of training, looks good and is stylish. We have implemented it simultaneously with an upgrade to a Windows-based Ceridian payroll system. So far we have conducted two enrolment phases and are looking to customising the solution still further.”
Ceridian’s experts can advise on how best to set up and tailor a cost-effective flexible benefits scheme for any company. As well as being able to provide administration and employee support services, Ceridian also provides an online employee portal that enables benefits administration, total reward statements, enrolment and reporting administration.
