Ceridian has successfully completed the first phase of implementation of its Employee Self-Service Solution for Eversheds, one of the world's largest law firms. With over 4,000 partners and employees worldwide, Eversheds has already identified concrete and tangible savings in work time.
The new Employee Self-Service for Eversheds, called MyHR, had to be designed to serve the complex needs of a matrix organisation and cross-office teams. Culturally, the introduction of MyHR supports Eversheds' business and HR strategies and allows wider access to real-time people data. A key benefit Eversheds is enjoying is a speeding up of processes, relieving the perceived (or even real) bureaucracy associated with previous manual paper-based systems. The introduction of MyHR has been one of the biggest HR system changes made within the firm, and has been well received across the whole business. Employee Self-Service, a web-based, fully-hosted service that is fully-integrated with Ceridian's core HR solution, lets HR teams share responsibility for selected transactions with employees and line managers, allowing HR to partner the business at a more strategic level.
Employees can view and change personal information at any time and line managers can access transactions including new starters, salary awards, bonuses, absence and overtime. Companies can also use the software to automate workflow processes, allowing employees to request training or a holiday and reminding their managers to sign it off. And it helps companies to share management information more efficiently among their managers, informing better and faster decision-making.
