Ceridian offers free financial and emotional advice to the public through their LifeWorks EAP

Ceridian, one of the largest providers of human resource services in the world, has today announced they will be offering free public access to a selection of educational materials that form part of Ceridian LifeWorks, their employee assistance programme (EAP). This will cover information on cutting down spending, managing debt and dealing with change in the workplace.

Anyone who is worried about the impact the economic downturn will have on their life, can download a number of free documents which have been designed by Ceridian's LifeWorks experts. The information available will help people with problems and concerns that have arisen out of the recession, offering helpful tips and advice.

Jeremy Campbell, Director of HRO sales at Ceridian, said, "We have recently conducted research to over 1,000 UK employees and over half of the respondents said that as a direct result of the recession, they would welcome access to a free confidential helpline for both personal and financial advice.  We have listened to this feedback, and as a result we have taken the decision to make a selection of our support documents available online for the public to download for free.

The recession is a stressful time for both employees and employers. Now is the time to widely communicate and encourage usage of any support mechanisms currently in place for employees. For those organisations that don't currently have this kind of service, we hope by making these documents publically available we can help reduce the negative effect the recession is having on individuals."
