Reading, UK 14 June 2018 - SD Worx Holding takes over Flexpoint Group. Following the take-over of VIO Interim in October last year, SD Worx Holding is reinforcing its position in the growing market for flexible work and is now also expanding its activities into the Netherlands.

The Flexpoint Group includes Flexpoint, Easymatch Payrolling, Equipe, Trento Engineering, Trace and Redirect. These companies are active in the areas of temp work, secondment, recruitment & selection, career guidance, outplacement, specific payroll for temps and HR consultancy. The Flexpoint Group has been active for more than twenty years and has over 240 fulltime employees and around fifty branches in Belgium and the Netherlands. Each day, more than 6,000 flex workers are assigned to principals in various market segments. In 2017, the Flexpoint Group had a turnover of more than EUR 160 million.

Staffing is on the rise

The flexibilisation of the labour market is in full swing and is responding to company demands to react more quickly, absorb temporary peaks or fill vacancies which remain vacant more quickly. More and more, companies are also using self-employed staff for temporary projects.

"There are therefore still a lot of growth opportunities in the staffing market, which goes beyond mere temp work. Consider, for example, recruitment & selection, assessment, project sourcing and outplacement, all specialisations which the Flexpoint Group has", says Filip Dierckx, Chair of the Board of Directors of SD Worx Holding. "The Flexpoint Group has a strong footprint in French-speaking Belgium and the Netherlands, but is also well represented in Flanders, particularly in cities where VIO Interim has little or no presence. As a result, both companies perfectly complement each other geographically. With this take-over, we are increasing our turnover in the staffing area to around EUR 300 million and aligning ourselves with the subtop. Our ambition is to be one of the top five in Belgium in staffing and to achieve significant growth outside Belgium by 2022. This means that we are looking for talent to help achieve this growth."

SD Worx Holding is taking over all the company shares. Two of the five shareholders will remain on board: the current CEO, Jos Gilissen, will become a member of the Board of Directors and Erwin Vogelzang will become a commercial consultant. The remaining three shareholders had not been operationally active for some time. They are now effectively leaving the company. The take-over will be final once the competition authorities have given their approval. The take-over price will not be disclosed.
