Karan Paige joins Ceridian UK as Chief People Officer
Karan Paige, most recently group people director at Somerfield, will join the UK operation of Ceridian, one of the largest global providers of human resource services, as chief people officer. Reporting to managing director, Doug Sawers, Karan will be responsible for further developing all aspects of HR, including driving leadership and development activities throughout the business. In addition, she will help spearhead the development of greater HR capability within the growing company’s client proposition and act as a key client contact point.

During her four years at Somerfield, Karan Paige led a number of people related changes including acquisition integration, the restructuring of Somerfield’s head office and 1,100 store teams plus IT and HR outsourcing. Prior to her time with Somerfield, Karan was vice president at AT Kearney Executive Search for three years, and between 1995 and 2000 ran her own successful human capital consulting business.
Karan Paige holds an MBA from the London Business School and a BA degree in European Political History from Warwick University. She joins Ceridian in July.
