SD Worx Unveils Latest Version of Integrated HR Solution, HRevolution

Reading, UK, 7th October, 2016 – SD Worx, a leading European HR service provider, today introduced HRevolution, the latest version of its state-of-the-art integrated HR and payroll cloud software solution. HRevolution 16.0, enables businesses to bring together their HR operations more seamlessly, making HR processes more efficient to support more informed and effective decision-making.

In line with its drive to deliver an intuitive, rewarding experience to users of its software, SD Worx has refreshed the entire ‘look and feel’ of HRevolution. The new version has been harmonised to deliver a more fluid experience on tablets and other mobile devices, such as iPads, Android tablets and smart phones, in addition to traditional desktop browsers.

As David Woodward, chief product officer, SD Worx states:

The days of complex, unwieldy corporate HR systems, accessible only via an office PC, are numbered. With the latest iteration of HRevolution we are sounding their death knell, delivering an HR solution that busy executives can access and use quickly and efficiently when they are out on the road or working remotely from home, using a mobile device, tablet or laptop.

SD Worx has flattened the design of the user interface to enhance the user experience. In version 16.0, everything is simply laid out in one browser window. No confusing popups or additional browser tabs. The resulting experience is one of simplicity, elegance and speed.

Site navigation has also been enhanced, everything commonly used is a couple of clicks away. Not only has SD Worx introduced coloured tiles on the ‘desktop’ layout to bring consistency with its mobile view, functions are designed for touch – features are larger, easier to select and operate with touch enabled devices.

Version 16.0 also features enhancements to HRevolution’s talent management functionality. This includes a new 9-Box Grid which provides HR professionals with the classic view of their talent, representing their colleagues on a 3 × 3 grid, with performance and potential on the axis. Powerful filtering features have been included to allow the user to quickly see how various departments vary in their talent makeup. Dynamic popup panels are used to detail which employees are in each cell.

In line with this, HRevolution 16.0 incorporates new succession planning features to allow HR managers to quickly evaluate the progress of employees specified as being within a succession plan for a particular role. Employee mobility is also provided, enabling HR professionals to quickly see which members of staff are willing to relocate, if required, to particular company offices or sites ideal for business that have specific region needs such as in the retail, hospitality or construction sectors.

Leading house builder, Taylor Wimpey played a key role in developing the talent management functionality within HRe16.0, trialing the capability and delivering feedback and advice that was taken on board by SD Worx who incorporated many of the suggestions into the final version.

HRevolution 16.0 also boasts numerous additional HR administration improvements. The ability to quickly change the start and leave date of employees reduces duplication of effort while improving user efficiency aiding accuracy and integrity of employee data. The latest release also features a reverse termination process allowing HR users to reinstate an employee terminated in error on the system, and new self-service capabilities for employees to view their P11Ds online and request shared parental leave.
