Over the past 20 years, flexible arrangements have become increasingly popular and are often portrayed as advantaging employees with savings. Employers may also benefit from the choices made.
But there are implications - Optional Remuneration Arrangement changes introduced in April 2017 outlawed or reduced the range of options that can be made available.
However, Salary Sacrifice arrangements remain extremely popular means of reducing yax and National Insurance liabilities for both employee and employer.
So how do companies operate these salary sacrifice arrangement and what implications are there?
