SD Worx appoints Michael Custers as Chief Marketing Officer

London, 30 September 2019 – Today, Michael Custers joins Payroll & HR services provider SD Worx as Chief Marketing Officer. Among other things, he will be responsible for expanding the company’s product range and communication and marketing activities. Michael Custers will join the Executive Committee and report directly to CEO Kobe Verdonck.

Michael Custers studied journalism, and started his career as an information architect at start-up company Aditel, where he later became marketing manager. In 2003, the company was acquired by Certipost, a joint venture between De Post-La Poste and Proximus, where Michael was responsible for marketing and product management. In 2006, he joined the listed company Arinso International as Director Investor Relations & Communications. Following the merger with Northgate in 2008, Michael held various commercial positions at NGA Human Resources (NorthgateArinso). These included being responsible for the company's global strategy, partnership and marketing activities from the United States for five years. In 2018, Michael became Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer at Isabel Group, the largest Belgian fintech.

    Three platforms

The way the client feels about the relationship with SD Worx, both personally and digitally via our applications, is crucial. Secondly, we want to further innovate our range of solutions. Thirdly, of course we need to create good commercial dynamism, strengthen our brand awareness and the brand internationally and, through relevant content, help our clients ask and answer the right HR questions."

    After graduating in journalism, Michael obtained a Masters in Management Science and Industrial Enterprise Policy. Michael lives in Leuven (Belgium), is married and has three children.
