SD Worx was listed as a Representative Vendor in Gartner’s July 2020 Market Guide for Multicountry Payroll Solutions

The Gartner Market Guide for Multicountry Payroll Solutions has once again named SD Worx a 'Representative Vendor’. The payroll and HR service provider, which operates in more than 130 countries, is honoured to receive this accolade. SD Worx is one of 21 companies worldwide to receive this honour.

Gartner publishes its Market Guide for Multicountry Payroll Solutions every year. This year, it has again included SD Worx as one of the representative vendors in the market for Multicountry Payroll Solutions. SD Worx has company offices in 11 European countries, and offers its solutions through regional and local partners in 130 countries worldwide. SD Worx' robotic process automation (RPA) solution for around 20 pre-payroll and post-payroll processes was very well received. It typically targets repetitive administrative processes, such as the simple entry of sick days and the smooth processing of newly hired staff.

"SD Worx always aims to achieve the highest quality and the most comprehensive service for all our 70,000 customers", says Kobe Verdonck, CEO of SD Worx. "Payroll services is one of the areas we specialise in. We are continuing to expand our international footprint, and we offer our customers payroll and HR solutions in the different countries they are operating in. Our focus is on a local presence and specialised knowledge combined with central, uniform international governance. We are pleased that SD Worx is recognised as one of the leading companies in this field. It will undoubtedly encourage our employees even more to maintain these high standards."

50% of payroll automated by 2023?

Besides recognising the Representative Vendors, the Gartner Market Guide for Multicountry Payroll Solutions has also identified a number of other new trends in the payroll landscape.  Gartner noted that, “By 2023, 50% of all payroll processing, audits and managed services will be automated and will be processed with no manual interventions”.

Gartner also looked at the impact of COVID-19 on payroll. The report noted that, “Cloud infrastructure played an important role in ensuring business continuity and keeping the critical processes running in the disruption caused by COVID-19”. Gartner also mentioned that, “A chatbot or a virtual assistant should be ideal to ensure enhanced employee engagement”.

"The Market Guide for Multicountry Payroll Solutions is always a useful tool for specialist companies", adds Kobe Verdonck. "SD Worx takes a very close look at the new trends in order to follow up and anticipate the latest trends in the business and offer our customers the best possible payroll and HR package. Our acquisition of Adessa in April this year will broaden our range in the cloud, and after launching the Digital Assistant in Belgium, we will now roll this out further in other countries."
