SD Worx strengthens Italian presence with acquisition of HR Service Srl

SD Worx, the leading European HR and payroll solutions provider, today announces the acquisition of HR Service srl, a payroll and labour consultancy specialist. This transaction further strengthens SD Worx’s footprint in Italy and underlines its ambition to grow its presence in key European markets.
Headquartered in Turin, with an additional office in Ravenna, HR Service is a well-established provider of payroll solutions and labour consultancy. The company has built a solid reputation for delivering high-quality, compliant HR services. The founders will continue to play an active role in the company, supporting integration and ensuring continuity of service for customers.
HR Service employs 27 qualified professionals and processes c. 15,000 payslips per month. Its client base comprises around 350 mid-sized companies across sectors such as research, medical services, transport and environmental hygiene. In 2025, HR Service reported revenues of c. EUR 2.2 million.
The acquisition aligns with SD Worx’s strategy to expand through the integration of strong, reputable HR solutions providers across Europe. Furthermore it enhances SD Worx Italy’s capabilities with a highly skilled and experienced team and provides access to a diversified and loyal customer base.
